A: It depends on complexity and size. Timelines can range based on the size and complexity of the project. Typically, from order until game time, it can be from 4 to over 12 weeks.
A: Rush the process and fail to consider all aspects and requirements for a backyard court or a commercial facility. We have seen some common issues:
- Failing to level the court surface properly.
- Not having sufficient lighting for night play.
- Neglecting to install an adequate backstop.
A: Absolutely, your court, your style!
A: According to USA Pickleball, a total playing surface of 30’X60 is the minimum recommended size. A total size of 34’X64’ feet is preferred.” The actual playing lines measure 20’ x 44’.
A: Asphalt or Concrete both provide an acceptable base for pickleball courts. Review surfacing requirements before installing the base, as there are recommended slope, drainage, surface finish, and overall construction specifications.
A: Pickleball court resurfacing is the process of re-applying the coating system to restore the court's look and textured play characteristics. This normally entails surface cleaning, crack & surface repairs, filling low areas
to reduce puddles, application of base and colour coatings, and striping the playing lines. The coating system also helps to seal and protect the asphalt or concrete base and extend its useful life.
A: There are a few options that result in different levels of cushioning. The added cushioning provides shock absorption without affecting the ball bounce. This increases player comfort and minimizes stress on feet, joints, and the
body.
